I finished hosting Marist Game Society’s student GameJam last week and this weekend, Carrot Island decided to participate in a MiniLudum Dare. We’re all over the place!

Clockwork Featured @ Come Out & Play

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven’t updated in awhile. It has been a very busy summer and I am back at Marist College now for a new semester.

I had a small role in a game called Clockwork which was designed by Michael Ren and we were featured at the New York Come Out & Play Festival this year with Grasshopper Games. I have pictures and videos inside for your viewing pleasure, and more about the game.

The Carrot and the Stick [Part 2]

Marist Game Society had our Spring 2013 Game Expo! Students showed off their projects made during the semester or year. Carrot Island debuted Thomas Edison, our HTML5 game discussed a few weeks ago. We finally have a functional first level. While not entirely complete, its a good test to gain some feedback from players.

Bioshock Infinite Gallery

Checkout my 5870×1080 “photography” from Bioshock Infinite with max settings on my AMD 6990.

This game was a spectacular visual treat that I feel kind of broke away from the typical color palettes and visual style we’re used to in games. Particularly the lighting and the skyboxes/clouds. Its really worth checking out.
